1. My country is called Tutkimus. Located between Finland, Sweden, and Norway, in the continent of Europe.The items/symbols I have placed in my design is a brown circle, grey spiral, a white artic wolf, mountains, and a plant growing in the background, with the motto "taistella suojata" in Finnish which means "fight to protect". I have chose a brown circle because the color brown because it meant comfort and home, and the circle symbolizes protection or a shield, since the circle is like enclosed, so in total it meant like protecting the comfort of homes. I choose to pick to brown circle because, well personally I would want to protect my home because it is comfortable to me, and I have been living in it for a while, like having a bond with the house, plus having the bond with my family and friends, its like worth protecting. The grey spiral; the color grey represents security, intelligence, and maturity, while the spiral means journeying, development, and progress. I have combined these too items/symbols because when people go out there to explore, trying out new things, they would have to have some previous knowledge to probably understand new things that might be relevant to previous knowledge they have. PLUS in order to protect out comforting homes we need some intelligence in the inside to know what's going on, to learn new things, so we can help, improve the protection of our country, that is also why I have placed the grey spiral inside the brown circle.The white artic wolf, well first off the artic wolf is originally white, but I wanted to put white in my seal for a reason, but first the symbolism of the artic fox; is adaptable, since it has been living in one of the world's most extreme climates, and it tends to go with the flow so it can blend in with its environment. I have chosen the color white because I wanted the people be represented as an artic wolf, and the country, having some of its characteristics of an artic wolf, will lead it towards peace, like they will use their intelligence to protect their country, which is also why the artic fox is placed where the brown circle and grey spiral are placed, since my country is more peaceful than war-like. The mountains in the seal symbolizes improvement and overcoming obstacles. I have decided to choose the mountains because well to improve we need to overcome obstacles and we can also try, try again. Even though for me, sometimes I give up on certain things but to improve we must overcome some obstacles. Last but not least the seedling in the background which is also green, and its not like a specific type of seedling, it is just a seedling in general, like a regular green seedling. The color green of the seedling symbolizes change and growth, and once again trying new things can lead to improvement/growth. The seedling or the growth of the seedling also symbolizes improvement. So basically the whole seal is like saying. "Go out there and explore", for one thing like trying new experiences that would be interesting to me and plus the experiences that we learn can probably benefit us in a way. I think my national seal will inspire nationalism in the people of my country because when I was thinking about when I was creating my seal was like my family, home, and friends because those are the things that are important to me, something worth protecting. And as I assume, its something what everybody else wants to protect, people who are loving and caring would want to protect something that they love, like something irreplaceable. And to be honest I bet not all of the people of my country would be all loving and caring in a way that I thought people would be. BUT we are here to learn new things to help figure out why people act in a certain way. For one thing I don't really hate people, just dislike them, so I am aiming for a peaceful country, I don't want to fight because we hate the person or other country. But the people in my country are willing to fight what is worth protecting. Which also kind of reminds me of America, of how soldiers fight and all, every time I watch movies about soldiers and a few books from school that we are learning. I kind of wanted to reach a goal to have the same idea as American soldiers, that are willing to protect the things they want to protect. So I thought it would bring people together because I think people will have similarities in some things they want to protect, that's what I am hoping anyway.
